Chef Neil Manacle

Chef Neil Manacle found his way back to Rhode Island in 2009, some 25 years after graduating with a degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales in Providence. A native of Brooklyn, NY, he had a hugely successful and illustrious 20+ year career working with Chef Bobby Flay both in NYC and Las Vegas as Chef de Cuisine at Mesa Grill, Bar Americain and Bolo. During that time he appeared on Iron Chef 14 times. Tiring of the fast pace of city life, the Executive Chef position at Newport’s well known Fluke Wine Bar and Kitchen offered just the reason to return to Rhode Island. After a highly acclaimed 3 year stint there, he left to pursue freelance culinary consulting and just spent “one of the best summer’s of his life” in 2013 tending to Chef Jake Rojas’ Taco Shack at Dutch Harbor in Jamestown. Chef Neil, who lives in Jamestown, enjoys tending to his thoughtfully-planned backyard vegetable gardens & beehives, teaching outstanding cooking classes and taking on interesting Private Chef jobs.
